Comments: Edgeworthia chrysantha is a broadleaf deciduous shrub that grows to about 4 to 6 feet tall and wide. The leaves are simple with an entire margin and alternatly arranged. This plant blooms in winter, with umbels of fragrant, tubular flowers that hang upside down from the tips of the leafless branches. Flowers on the exterior of the inflorescence are white and transition to yellow in the interior.
