Comments:
European larch is spreading or pyramid-shaped deciduous conifer with drooping branches. It may have many brown "bumps" on some branches, with are the base of short shoots, which bear clusters of 30-40 needle leaves. Leaves are bright green in spring, turning a rich yellow color in fall. Its seed cones are narrowly ovate, and upright on branches, light brown at maturity. Does best in full sun in well-drained conditions.
