Comments: 'Wickwar Flame' is a mound forming evergreen shrub that grows to about 1 to 2 feet tall and spreads about 2 to 3 feet wide. Leaves are small, densely branched, and turns from green to orange from summer to fall, and copper/red in the winter. Racemes of small, mauve, urn-shaped flowers are borne on the ends of branches from late summer to fall. This plant was introduced in 1970 by George Osmond, and was bread from the cultivar ‘Olympic Gold’.
