Exquisite star-like flowers open white with a pastel pink blush in early spring with a light fragrance. The form of this hybrid magnolia is rounded, being almost as wide as tall and the chubby leaves often emerge with a light wash of rusty red over green before turning emerald green for the summer. Best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained loams in full sun to part shade.
