Comments: In our climate this tree commonly has flowers and fruit along with fall color which makes this large spiny shrub quite a show stopper. It is located 30ft downslope from the overlook trail.
It is fast growing and suckers readily creating a thicket. Its native range includes Korea, China, Japan and Eastern Siberia.
