Comments: Viburnum × bodnantense 'Dawn' is a hybrid between Viburnum farreri and Viburnum grandiflorum. It is a decidous shrub that reaches 8 to 10 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide. The leaves are opposite with deep veins and serrated margins. They emerge in the spring with a bronze tint, and transition to green as they mature. Flowers emerge from fall to winter, after the leaves drop. Inflorescence are cymes of pink, tubular flowers. This hybrid was developed in 1935 at the Bodnant Gardens in North Wales.
